Skill: Information Architecture (IA)

Launched: Charles-Lewis.com

Wow–this was website #3 this week. I'm tired. But, it was great to get this one up for my client, Charles Lewis, a best-selling author, journalist, professor, and founder of the Center for Public Integrity (among other things). We started working on it a few year ago and due to his very, very busy schedule, […]

Launched: Debate the Debt

This new website, developed for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, is the online center piece of a new initiative to get the 2012 presidential candidates to have a debate about the federal budget. I got the call around 7PM from the client telling me they needed something up by first thing the next […]

Wireframe for Re-Designed BullyingInfo.org

Developed and presented a wireframe for a soon-to-be re-designed BullyingInfo.org, a project of the Federal Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs.  The wireframe was designed in OmniGraffle software.

Website Sitemap and Wireframes for New Federal Website

Developed and submitted the proposed sitemap and homepage wireframe for a forthcoming federal website.  Both deliverables were based upon a previous requirements gathering meeting that I led.  OmniGraffle was used to produce both the sitemap and wireframe.   UPDATE: view the case study

Developing new Federal technical assistance center website

Kicked off the initial planning for a forthcoming website for a Federally-funded technical assistance center.  The new site, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, is slated for launch in December.  To start, I'm heading up the requirements gathering process (e.g., defining the audience, site goals, and core functionality) and information architecture.  I'll also contribute […]
