Spend first weekend with Olympio in Mario's place. Olympio is into Pokemon Go. Lunch w/ Virginie. Drinks and dessert with Loli, Cecile and Daph.

Katia and Alejandro's house; day hike + swim at local resovoir. End of two week road trip.

Long weekend with Christine and John (and Rose), Megan and Michael (and Gus and Frida). At the house where they film Cook's Country, a Cook's Illustrated show on PBS. Barn with four cars: Ta Ta, two Citroen and a Masarati. 

Drive from Novi through Canada and Niagra Falls to Rochester. Stop overnight enroute to Vermont.

After Venice, into Paris to spend time with V's family. Get family photo puzzle gift from Daphne. Give grappa to Mario and Ambroise. Bebe Virgile is starting to take his first steps. 

Fairytale long weekend in Venice. Great food at slow food restaurants Local and Covino. Visit to "lace making" island Baruno, where we paid an old man (Julio) to take us on his little motor boat to an island monestary set up by Saint Francesco.
