Venice, Italy

Fairytale long weekend in Venice. Great food at slow food restaurants Local and Covino. Visit to "lace making" island Baruno, where we paid an old man (Julio) to take us on his little motor boat to an island monestary set up by Saint Francesco. Walked along the canals and tiny streets, took the water taxi. ~25,000 steps per day.

Stay in AirBnB with backdoor that opened directly to a small canal. Owner's "concierge" tell us not to "buy bags from the black man".
