ATTIC: Browsing History

Some users arrive to ATTIC on the hunt for a specific product, perhaps a midcentury sofa, while others are in more of a browsing mode and may look at ten or more products. Some find what they’re looking, head to the store’s website and their journey is done. Others pause and come back later. We wanted to make sure they could come back, maybe even weeks later, and easily see what they viewed on their last visit. We also wanted to do this in a privacy-focused, user-friendly manner. No, you don’t have to create an account; no, you don’t have to give us your email address; and, no you don’t have to install our app. We did this by using native browser technologies and not an ounce of personal information. So long as you use the same browser on the same computer, you’ll now see your browser history. That 90s yellow Dior skirt suit, that velvet pillow with the tiger print, or that Heywood Wakefield credenza that you had your eye on…are all still there, just a click away.
